Service Technician Refrigeration (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a service technician for ventilation / air conditioning / refrigeration for an established company in the field of modern ventilation and air conditioning technology. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and commissioning of ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems at customer sites and simultaneously support the technical service administration. The position combines around 60% field service with 40% technical and administrative tasks in the internal service and offers versatile deployment opportunities in building technology. The focus is on fault diagnosis, electrical engineering, HVAC system technology and technical customer support as well as ensuring reliable system operation.

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintenance: Independent execution of maintenance, inspection and repair work on ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

• Fault analysis and troubleshooting: Systematic diagnosis and rectification of electrical, mechanical and control technology faults in HVAC systems.

• Commissioning of HVAC systems: Technical commissioning, functional testing, parameterisation and optimisation of new ventilation and air conditioning systems.

• Ventilation and air conditioning technology: Testing and maintenance of fans, ventilation units, heat recovery systems, air conditioning components and refrigeration units.

• Electrical engineering and control: Inspection of electrical connections, sensors, actuators, controls and regulation components within the scope of professional authorisation.

• Installation support: Technical assistance during installation, assembly and commissioning of new ventilation and air conditioning systems.

• Technical field service: Execution of service calls, customer visits, system inspections and technical clarifications on site.

• Service administration: Processing of service orders, maintenance protocols, deployment reports and technical documentation in the internal service.

• Customer advice and support: Technical assistance with system faults, maintenance questions, spare parts requirements and operational optimisations.

• Spare parts and repair management: Clarification and coordination of spare parts, repair orders, warranty cases and material orders.

• Digital service processes: Maintenance of customer data, service reports and maintenance information using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Quality and operational safety: Compliance with relevant safety regulations, manufacturer requirements and technical maintenance standards.

Qualifications:

• Completed technical training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) in refrigeration systems, ventilation technology, electrical engineering or building technology, for example as a refrigeration system mechanic EFZ or ventilation system builder EFZ.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in the maintenance, servicing and repair of air conditioning, ventilation or refrigeration systems.

• Solid expertise in HVAC technology, electrical engineering, control and regulation technology as well as technical fault diagnosis.

• Experience with commissioning, functional testing, system parameterisation and technical service calls.

• Good user knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or comparable CRM systems is an advantage.

• Driving licence category B for regular service calls in the field.

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; English and French skills are an advantage.
