For a growing software and consulting company with locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, we are looking for a technically strong personality who not only designs architecture but lives it. You accompany clients in large, demanding projects, answer difficult technical questions, and build bridges between IT and business. You stay close to the technology because good architecture arises where concept and code come together.
Responsibilities:
You support clients in demanding large projects as a Solution Architect and Senior Software Engineer
You design well-thought-out architectures and convince through good technical solutions and clear communication
You approach requirements systemically, organise them, and explain them understandably to technical and non-technical audiences
You drive innovation topics such as AI-based solutions with retrieval-augmented generation, from evaluation through prototypes to realisation
You work in the team as an experienced developer and combine foresight with implementation strength
Qualifications:
You have a degree (university, ETH or university of applied sciences) in computer science or a comparable qualification
You have solid full-stack knowledge with .NET or Java (e.g. Spring Boot) as well as Angular or React
You are familiar with event streaming (e.g. Kafka) and containerisation (Docker)
You have developed and operated cloud-native applications; cloud certifications are a plus
You are familiar with security concepts such as authentication, authorisation, IAM, PKI, and encryption
You have experience with microservices and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
You enjoy architecture and modelling approaches
You bring initial practical experience with generative AI, especially RAG and prompt engineering
You have worked in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe)
You speak and write German confidently and communicate in English at B2 level
