Bed Coordinator

The medical department of Internal Medicine includes the following university clinics: General Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Immunology, Pneumology and Allergology, Dermatology and Venereology, Endocrinology, Nutritional Medicine and Metabolism, Haematology and Haematological Central Laboratory.

What to expect

• As a bed coordinator, you coordinate patient admissions (emergencies and elective admissions) for the entire medical department
• You maintain an overview of bed occupancy and ensure continuous admission capacity within the medical department
• For the elective admissions of our patients, you coordinate the admission time, prescribed examinations, and handle the corresponding correspondence
• As a central contact person, you enjoy close interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration with various departments and professional colleagues

What you bring

• Completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH
• Experience in complex patient situations, ideally with knowledge in coordination and disposition, as well as confident PC user skills
• High social competence as well as pronounced communication and teamwork skills
• Service-oriented, organised working style, enjoyment in actively shaping the work area, and willingness to work day and evening shifts
