Our client is a renowned, internationally active Swiss trading company headquartered in the Winterthur region. To support the well-established finance team, we are looking for a skilled, precise, and team-oriented individual to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your main tasks

In this versatile role, you will actively support the existing accounting team in daily operations. The focus of your work lies in the following areas:

• Accounts payable:

  • Independently recording, coding, and posting supplier invoices

  • Checking and obtaining payment approvals as well as preparing payment runs

  • Reconciling accounts payable and resolving discrepancies

• Accounts receivable:

  • Recording and posting all incoming payments

  • Monitoring open items and managing dunning processes

  • Maintaining and updating customer and supplier master data

• General finance tasks:

  • Assisting with ongoing closing activities (monthly and interim closings)

  • General administrative support for finance and accounting

Your profile

• Solid practical experience in the main tasks of accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting

• Languages: Confident German in spoken and written form; good English skills are an advantage in an international environment

• IT skills: Proficient use of MS Office applications (especially Excel) and experience with a common ERP system

• Personality: Accurate, independent, and goal-oriented working style, high quality awareness, and team spirit
