Role:
In this role, you will dive deep into the world of Microsoft system administration and ensure that Windows, Microsoft 365, and Citrix environments run stably, performantly, and reliably. You take responsibility for the operation of clients, servers, and the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops platform and understand systems and their dependencies holistically. You prioritise incidents according to service level and business impact, accompany them from the initial triage to sustainable resolution, always focusing on high customer satisfaction. Through consistent, proactive monitoring, you detect anomalies early and resolve disruptions with structured root cause analysis rather than just processing tickets. At the same time, you work closely with experienced system engineers, take on technical responsibility, and develop professionally in a central operational role to not only operate systems but truly understand them.
Responsibilities:
Support, operation, and maintenance of Microsoft 365, Windows clients, servers, and Citrix environments are part of your daily routine
You analyse and efficiently resolve technical faults – remotely as well as directly on site with the customer
Service requests, changes, and the lifecycle of clients and servers are structured and reliably implemented by you
You take responsibility for the hardware and software inventory as well as comprehensive documentation
Together with system engineers, network, and security, you work on exciting workplace, cloud, and infrastructure projects
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ICT professional EFZ, or a comparable qualification
Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows clients, and Windows servers as well as initial knowledge of Citrix
ITIL processes are familiar to you, and you convince with a structured, solution-oriented working style and an interest in automation with PowerShell, Intune, or Microsoft Graph
Driving licence category B as well as an are required
Fluent written and spoken German
