Your field of activity
Within our Thermal Networks Service, you will hold a key position in the operation of our heat production facilities with the unique opportunity to participate in the Viteos energy transition.
Your role requires improving the energy efficiency of our various district heating production plants (DHP). The heat producer fleet includes wood boilers, fossil boilers (gas and/or oil), industrial heat pumps and heat recovery installations with the aim of reducing our production costs.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Acquire, analyse and process consumption and production data
- Improve operating processes and the valorisation of renewable energies
- Develop the energy optimisation of installations
- Propose processes correlated with the rational use of energy
- Manage projects and specific works related to DHP plants
- Establish and update technical documents and write reports.
- Participate in the on-call service, approximately one week every 6 to 8 weeks

Requirements you must meet:
- Hold a HES/EPFL Engineer degree in thermal engineering, mechanical engineering, environment, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Sanitation and Electricity) or equivalent training
- Have 5 years of experience in the energy field and project management
- Possess very good knowledge of thermal energy production and distribution systems. Knowledge of the overall operation of a DHP network is an advantage
- Possess very good knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and DCS
- Master standard IT tools (MS Office, Outlook, etc.) and technical tools in the field or have the ability to easily acquire mastery of calculation tools
- Hold a category B driving licence
