The Centre for Laboratory Medicine is one of the leading medical laboratories in Switzerland. Our employees perform routine and specialised analyses in Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, Immunology, and Molecular Biology. The Central Sample Reception is the hub between our customers and laboratory analytics.

What to expect

• Identify and check incoming samples and orders - ensuring every analysis starts on a reliable basis
• Prepare sample material for analysis and ensure it arrives on time in the correct laboratory area
• Organise the shipment of samples to external laboratories and keep an eye on deadlines and transport conditions
• Advise and support customers competently and solution-oriented by phone
• Check and process samples from various clinical studies, thereby contributing to medical research

What you bring

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) or Health Professional (FaGe)
• Interest in laboratory work and motivation to apply your expertise in a new environment
• Friendly, professional demeanour, enjoyment of customer contact, and strong service orientation
• Enjoyment of teamwork and appreciation of an environment where mutual support is valued
• Willingness to participate in Saturday shifts on a rota basis (7.00-12.00)
