Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a committed professional for architectural design development, project planning, and constructive planning of diverse building projects. You will accompany various construction tasks in Switzerland and engage intensively with spatial design, materialisation, construction, and architectural quality. The focus is on developing aesthetically convincing concepts, their precise structural implementation, and participation in architectural project management across various SIA service phases. The position offers the opportunity to independently take responsibility and actively shape demanding architectural projects within an interdisciplinary and internationally influenced team.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in diverse building projects from conceptual development through project planning to execution planning

• Development and elaboration of architectural design concepts considering spatial, functional, aesthetic, and economic requirements

• Preparation of preliminary project, construction project, and execution documents according to relevant SIA service phases

• Development of constructive and material-related detailed solutions for the precise implementation of the architectural design idea

• Processing of floor plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings as well as preparation of digital planning and presentation documents

• Participation in the selection and coordination of materials, surfaces, and component constructions considering design, durability, and sustainability

• Coordination of architectural planning content with specialist planners in structural engineering, building services, and building physics

• Support in architectural project management including scheduling, coordination of project workflows, and monitoring planning quality

• Independent handling of defined project areas and work packages as well as taking on professional responsibility within the project team

• Participation in planning and coordination meetings with clients, specialist planners, and other project participants

• Review of planning documents regarding structural feasibility and compliance with standards considering relevant Swiss building regulations

• Support during the constructive implementation phase including clarification of architectural details and processing of necessary plan adjustments

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at FH or ETH at bachelor or master level or equivalent recognised university degree

• Expertise in architectural design, building project planning, and constructive planning as well as interest in handling diverse construction tasks

• Knowledge of relevant SIA service phases and basic Swiss building regulations; practical experience in Swiss architectural projects is an advantage

• Experience with CAD-supported architectural planning and digital design tools as well as confident use of common planning and presentation software

• Interest in materialisation, constructive detail development, and architectural quality from the initial design idea to structural implementation

• Willingness to independently handle project tasks and take responsibility in interdisciplinary planning teams

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project processing and communication with internal and external project participants
