Security & Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN® partner is the contact for large-scale telecommunications services. The customer is always the focus, as is the service offered. It is of utmost importance to our partner to optimally meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the implementation, monitoring and optimisation of security solutions in networks, including firewalls, VPNs and DDoS protection
In addition, you develop and implement security architectures and proactively analyse and resolve security incidents
You operate and optimise IP networks as well as our access platforms (FTTH, HFC) and advise internal teams on IT security topics
Furthermore, you create security documentation, support the helpdesk in 2nd-level support and conduct training sessions
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science, IT security or a comparable IT qualification
With several years of experience as a network engineer, ideally in the provider environment and IT security, you bring in-depth knowledge of network technologies such as MPLS, BGP and OSPF
Your analytical and solution-oriented working style as well as your communication skills help you to convey complex topics clearly
You are prepared for on-call duty and night work
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
