Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the management of demanding building construction projects for private and public clients. You will take over the operational control of the realisation and be responsible in particular for scheduling, cost estimation, cost control and on-site construction management. In doing so, you coordinate contractors, specialist planners and other project participants and ensure a qualitatively, timely and economically flawless execution. The project execution is carried out using modern digital methods and involving VDC (Virtual Design and Construction).
Responsibilities:
Independent on-site construction management of building construction projects of varying size and complexity
Creation, maintenance and monitoring of rough, detailed and execution schedules with MS Project
Execution of cost estimation and tendering as well as preparation of specifications and tender documents
Conducting offer comparisons and awards as well as support in the preparation and management of contracts for work
Management of construction accounting with Messerli including cost control, invoice verification and ongoing cost forecasts
Review and processing of measurements, contractor invoices and claims
Coordination and control of contractors, specialist planners and other project participants during the realisation phase
Leading and minute-taking of construction and coordination meetings as well as consistent follow-up of pending issues
Monitoring construction execution with regard to quality, deadlines, execution planning, contracts for work and SIA standards
Application of VDC methods to support coordinated and transparent planning and realisation
Organisation and execution of acceptances and defect management as well as monitoring defect rectification
Preparation and coordination of revision, acceptance and project completion documentation
Qualifications:
Education as Architect FH/ETH, Civil Engineer FH/ETH, Draftsman EFZ specialising in Architecture or basic craft training with further education as Certified Construction Manager
Several years of construction management experience in Switzerland with building construction projects of varying size
Sound knowledge in cost estimation, tendering, construction accounting, cost control and scheduling
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, contracts for work and Swiss construction practice
Confident knowledge of Messerli construction administration and MS Project
Proficient use of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and Word
Knowledge of VDC/BIM-based planning and realisation processes is an advantage
