Product Quality Engineer

For one of our clients, a recognised player in the pharmaceutical industry based in Geneva, we are looking for a Product Quality Assurance Engineer for a temporary assignment of at least 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Your responsibilities

Within the Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting the review and release of batches of raw materials, packaging components and finished products.
• Ensuring the follow-up of non-conformities: approval of investigations, management of CAPA and quality decision-making.
• Managing Change Controls related to marketed products.
• Approving quality documentation related to production and engineering activities.
• Ensuring on-site presence (QA Oversight) and participating in production meetings as well as Gemba Walks.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects and supporting production teams.
• Participating in Design Transfers of new and marketed products.
• Participating in the handling of customer complaints.
• Contributing to internal audits, regulatory inspections and monitoring quality indicators.

Your profile

• Engineering degree, scientific Master’s, Pharmacist or HES.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in operational Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Experience in a sterile/injectable manufacturing environment is a real asset.
• Good knowledge of GMP and the ISO 13485 standard.
• Proficiency with quality tools (CAPA, Change Control, risk analyses, 5 Why, 5M, QQOQCCP, A3…).
• Fluent French and professional English (minimum B2).
• Rigorous, autonomous, proactive person who enjoys teamwork.
