As part of our industrial transformation project and the construction of our new factory in Bernex, we are looking for a rigorous and autonomous professional, with a solid technical sense capable of designing technical solutions while remaining close to the field and production equipment. This position, at the heart of a major industrial project, requires a pragmatic, organised person capable of proposing robust technical solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.
POSITION: DESIGN ENGINEER – ENGINEERING
YOUR PROFILE:
- Higher technical education: ES Technician, HES Bachelor in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, with strong field presence and practical experience of production equipment;
- Good knowledge of industrial equipment and applied mechanics for modification, adaptation and improvement of machines;
- Ability to write technical specifications and structure rigorous documentation;
- Ability to independently design and model technical solutions using CREO (mechanical, equipment adaptation);
- Ease in technical exchanges with suppliers, manufacturers and external partners;
- Good level of English (an asset).
THE POSITION AND YOUR FUTURE MISSIONS:
- Technical studies & feasibility
- Carry out studies for modification, adaptation and improvement of existing industrial equipment;
- Analyse the technical feasibility of adaptations, especially for machines related to building infrastructure or interfaces that cannot be identically reproduced.
- Design & documentation
- Design, model and size technical solutions, then develop and structure the associated documentation (plans, files, bills of materials);
- Write specifications related to machine modifications, supplier consultations and investment needs.
- Supplier management & project follow-up
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to define, challenge and monitor technical solutions;
- Support projects from study to field implementation (testing, installation, validation).
- Cross-functional coordination
- Work closely with Production, Methods & Industrialisation, Maintenance, Purchasing and General Services teams.
