Technical Buyer/ Category Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Independently conducting negotiations as well as drafting contracts and framework agreements in the assigned purchasing area (also across locations)
- Timely processing of inquiries and orders in SAP/R3
- Supporting the development and implementation of the purchasing strategy
- Active supplier and risk management, including claim management
- Searching for, acquiring, and qualifying new suppliers
- Participating in internal purchasing projects and taking on special projects
- Supporting sales during the bidding phase (bid support)
Qualifications:
Technical training with further education in purchasing
Experience in operational/strategic purchasing in an industrial company
Very good knowledge of SAP/R3, Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
Very good English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
