IT Security Engineer SOC & SIEM (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner are the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as the operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
Cybersecurity evolves daily - that is exactly why experts are sought who can detect threats early, continuously optimise security platforms and drive modern detection strategies. We are looking for a personality with a passion for security operations and innovative cyber-defence solutions.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of modern SIEM and SOC environments
Analysis, assessment and prioritisation of security events and incidents
Development of new detection rules and use cases for attack detection
Optimisation of security monitoring, alerting and incident response processes
Conducting threat hunting and analysing current cyber threats
Automation of recurring security processes with modern technologies
Collaboration with infrastructure, cloud and DevSecOps teams
Support in security assessments and hardening measures
Introduction of new security solutions in the areas of XDR, SOAR and endpoint security
Contribution to the continuous improvement of cyber resilience
Qualifications:
Experience in security operations or cyber defence
Knowledge of SIEM, SOC, XDR or SOAR platforms
Understanding of networks, Windows, Linux and cloud environments
Experience with incident response, log analysis or threat detection
Analytical, solution-oriented and independent working style
Interest in current attack techniques and modern security technologies
