Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d) responsible for managing strategic, business, and technical IT projects, ensuring their quality, operational and financial control, as well as achieving the set objectives.

Your mission

• Manage IT projects end-to-end, ensuring compliance with objectives, deadlines, costs, quality, and commitments defined in the project mandates.
• Identify, assess, and monitor project risks, implement necessary corrective measures, and ensure compliance with internal control, information security, and quality assurance requirements.
• Organise project governance, prepare decisions, and ensure necessary validations with stakeholders, steering committees, and governance bodies.
• Define and coordinate necessary resources, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure effective communication with experts, business units, and management.
• Apply project management methodologies and standards, notably Hermès, and ensure reporting, communication, change management support, and training plan follow-up.

• University Master’s degree in IT, EPF engineering diploma, or equivalent training, with at least 5 years of proven experience in managing IT solution projects.
• Strong command of various project management disciplines throughout the entire lifecycle, with experience in one or more recognised frameworks such as Hermès, PMI, IPMA or Agile.
• Proven experience in managing IT projects involving vendor solutions, internal or external developments, and complex technical environments.
• Strong ability to manage multidisciplinary resources, delegate, set objectives, and interact effectively with expert engineers, business stakeholders, and management members.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership, autonomy, anticipation, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of the challenges of a public or highly structured organisation, with the ability to operate in a demanding environment regarding governance, compliance, and risk management.
