Role:
Stable software is created where platform and delivery seamlessly interact. It is exactly at this interface that you, as a Senior DevOps Engineer (OpenShift & GitOps), operate and shape a modern Red Hat OpenShift platform from architecture to operation. With clear standards and plenty of automation, you make releases faster and safer. Development, architecture, and IT security seek your advice on tricky questions. You enjoy sharing your know-how and thus raise the level across the entire team.
Responsibilities:
You take responsibility for the architecture, operation, and further development of the container platform.
With GitOps approaches and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, you establish scalable processes for build, test, and release.
You specifically advance automation and standardisation throughout the entire toolchain.
Additionally, you embed security, governance, and compliance requirements directly into the platform.
In complex incidents, you maintain technical leadership and thoroughly investigate the root causes.
You also evaluate new tools and services, introduce them, and support junior engineers in their professional development.
Qualifications:
You have at least five years of practical experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
You master container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift at an expert level.
In daily work, you confidently use Git, Tekton, ArgoCD, TeamCity, or similar tools and are familiar with container registries like Harbor.
You implement observability with solutions like ELK or Sentry and keep logging and monitoring under control at all times.
Furthermore, you transform complex requirements into pragmatic, secure, and scalable platform architectures.
You also impress with technical leadership, clear judgement, and enthusiasm for coaching others.
Benefits:
- Home office
- Attractive benefits in case of illness or accident
- Experienced and dynamic team
- Interesting and varied tasks/projects
- Flexible working hours
- Coaching and mentoring
- Open corporate culture
- Comfortable office with modern infrastructure
- Participation in or provision of company car
- Above-average holidays and days off
