To strengthen our team in the Global Engineering department, we are looking for a committed Director Project Large CAPEX (a) 100%.

Your responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for complex large-scale and investment projects (Capex) across all project phases – from feasibility study to handover to operations.
• Management and control of feasibility, variant, and concept studies including technical, economic, and regulatory evaluation as well as preparation of decisions for management committees.
• Selection and management of suitable project execution models (EPCm, EPC, AE&CM) from the client/owner perspective.
• Ensuring production readiness as well as GMP, safety, and legal compliance of plants, buildings, and infrastructure.
• Design, planning, and implementation of new constructions and conversions including integration of process, automation, and building topics.
• Leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and management of external partners and service providers.
• Planning, monitoring, and execution of commissioning and qualification of new plants and buildings.
• Budget responsibility including planning, consolidation, and monitoring of investment and operating costs.

Your profile:

• Completed technical university degree (ETH/FH/TU) or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in managing complex large-scale and investment projects in an industrial environment, ideally GMP-regulated.
• Solid experience with project execution models such as EPCm, EPC, and AE&CM.
• Experience in early project phases (feasibility and concept studies) as well as in governance and decision-making processes.
• Good overall technical understanding of process, automation, and building topics.
• Experience in budget and investment management (Capex/Opex).
• Several years of leadership experience as well as strong communication and coordination skills.
• Very good German and good English skills.
