Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual for a versatile role in finance and accounting with additional tasks in controlling. You will take responsibility for the financial accounting of several companies and accompany various topics from financial statements to taxes to financial planning. You will work closely with internal and external specialists and actively contribute to the further development of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the financial accounting of various Swiss companies and ensure correct and legally compliant processing
You independently prepare quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and coordinate cooperation with the external audit firm
You manage international VAT matters, including registrations as well as the preparation and submission of VAT returns in various countries
You take on tasks in liquidity and foreign currency management and support the implementation of currency hedging
You contribute to budgeting and management reporting and prepare relevant financial data and analyses
You ensure the reconciliation and allocation of intra-group services, support smaller subsidiaries, and contribute to the further development of the internal control system and financial processes
Qualifications:
You have a further education in finance and accounting, for example a federal diploma, or a business degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling
You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Ideally, you have experience in international VAT matters
Fluent German and good English skills are required
