Senior DevOps Engineer Kubernetes & Automation (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.

Role:
For the further development of a modern IT platform, a technically skilled professional with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps is sought. The focus is on container-based technologies, automated processes and the continuous improvement of development and operational processes.
You actively shape the technical platform, develop reliable CI/CD processes and contribute ideas to optimise the infrastructure. In doing so, you work with modern automation tools and classic virtualisation solutions and support the introduction of new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Further development and optimisation of platforms based on Kubernetes and containers
Design and implementation of automated CI/CD processes
Automation of deployments as well as recurring development and operational processes
Support and use of infrastructure and virtualisation technologies depending on the application
Co-design of architectural specifications, technical standards and DevOps best practices
Evaluation and introduction of new tools and technologies for container platforms and automation
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable practical experience
Sound knowledge of Kubernetes, container technologies and Linux
Practical experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD platforms
Good knowledge of automation and configuration management, for example with Ansible
Experience with virtualisation solutions such as VMware, Nutanix or Proxmox is an advantage
Independent and solution-oriented personality with enthusiasm for standardisation and further development; good German skills and English at B2 level are an advantage
