Construction/Project Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the construction and project management of demanding building construction projects in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. You will take over the operational management of the construction sites and be responsible for quality, deadlines and costs from tendering to acceptance. A focus lies on costing according to NPK, contractor coordination, SIA 118, cost control and defect management. The position offers a varied project environment with high personal responsibility in the realisation of new build and refurbishment projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management and site organisation of building construction projects during the realisation phase
Monitoring of the construction execution with regard to plans, contracts, quality, deadlines and applicable safety regulations
Creation and ongoing management of construction programmes and schedules as well as coordination of the individual trades
Responsibility for cost control, measurement, invoice verification, change order management and construction accounting
Preparation of specifications and costing according to NPK as well as conducting tenders and offer comparisons
Participation in awards and contracts as well as technical and commercial negotiations with contractors
Coordination and leadership of contractors, craftsmen, specialist planners and experts on site
Coordination with client, architect, planners, authorities and other project participants
Conducting and documenting construction meetings, site inspections and quality checks
Organisation of acceptances and handovers as well as management of defect handling and monitoring of defect rectification
Support of warranty and guarantee management after project completion and ensuring complete construction documentation
Qualifications:
Apprenticeship with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) in construction, for example bricklayer EFZ or draughtsman EFZ specialising in architecture
Further training as certified building construction manager HFP or near completion
Several years of professional experience in local construction management and site organisation of Swiss building construction projects
Sound knowledge of SIA standards, especially SIA 118, NPK and Swiss construction law
Good user knowledge of Messerli or DELTAproject as well as MS Project
Experience in costing, tendering, cost control, construction accounting and warranty management
Fluent German skills and willingness for occasional on-call duty
