Citrix Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 115,000Role:
An experienced individual is sought for the operation and further development of an extensive virtual desktop and application delivery environment. The focus is on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler, Windows infrastructure and PowerShell as well as the ongoing modernisation of the platform.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of a Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp environment based on 2402 LTSR
Administration and further development of the associated Citrix NetScaler ADC infrastructure
Support in expanding the system landscape and introducing new software solutions
Independent implementation of migrations and smaller infrastructure projects
Participation in technical concepts, system overviews and documentation
Analysis of complex technical faults and handling of tickets in 2nd and 3rd level support
Further development of the environment towards Citrix DaaS and Citrix Cloud Services
Qualifications:
Education in computer science or a comparable qualification
Extensive experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC (SDX/VPX) including administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
Good knowledge of load balancing, SSL offloading, gateway and authentication solutions
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) as well as migrations towards Citrix DaaS
Several years of experience with Citrix environments, VDI and Microsoft technologies
Very good knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and GPO
Good knowledge of PowerShell
Independent and quality-conscious working style as well as enjoyment of cross-team collaboration
High security awareness and willingness for on-call duty
Fluent German skills and good English skills
