Role:
As a strategic buyer, you actively shape procurement and take responsibility for a versatile and internationally oriented purchasing function. You combine strategic thinking with negotiation skills, develop supplier relationships further, and contribute your ideas to the advancement of purchasing. Responsibilities:
You are responsible for strategic and operational purchasing and ensure supply according to demand.
You conduct negotiations with suppliers, manage contracts, and further develop existing procurement processes and tools.
You analyse procurement needs and support the development of measures to ensure supply security.
You lead or coordinate cross-departmental and cross-site projects and contribute to the further development of the purchasing organisation and systems.
You take on additional responsibility within the purchasing team as needed and are prepared to travel internationally several times a year.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in business administration, supply chain management, chemistry, industrial engineering, or a comparable higher professional qualification.
You bring several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in an industrial or chemical environment.
You have experience in negotiations, supplier and contract management, as well as project management.
You have very good SAP-MM and ERP knowledge and work independently, entrepreneurially, and solution-oriented.
You communicate very well in German and English; Dutch is an advantage. You convince through negotiation skills, assertiveness, and professional stakeholder management.
