What you can move.
- As a team leader, you lead and develop a team of seven to nine employees according to SBB management principles and deduce, from key figures, the appropriate measures which you implement in a targeted manner.
- You plan, coordinate and take responsibility for all maintenance activities carried out at the workshops and the Biel maintenance centre, from preventive and corrective interventions to special assignments within operational processes.
- You take responsibility for the installations from a technical and safety perspective, ensure compliance with service level agreements and ensure the development of sustainable solutions through effective fault management.
- You develop the maintenance strategy, ensure the interface between production and maintenance and contribute your professional knowledge during workshop sessions, management meetings and specialist meetings as well as in exchanges with site managers. In addition, you support specialists on technical issues.
- In collaboration with internal and external specialists, you optimise the maintenance of installations, buildings and railway infrastructure objects.
- In close contact with regional management, you support audits, take on special tasks and participate in strategic and operational decision-making. You thus contribute to the continuous development of the organisation.
What you bring.
- With a team spirit, you actively engage with people, lead and motivate your team while maintaining an overview thanks to your interdisciplinary thinking.
- You manage to communicate in a recipient-appropriate and solution-oriented manner with different interest groups.
- You have several years of professional experience in industrial maintenance, including leadership experience in a similar role.
- You have a technical professional training of at least four years with a specialisation in the field of electricity (art. 15 or 13 OIBT ideally), solid knowledge in mechatronics and production technology and processes, as well as successfully completed advanced professional training (e.g. federal diploma in a technical speciality, maintenance manager, Facility Manager or equivalent continuing education).
- You have experience in fault analysis as well as in the technical evaluation of installations and work confidently with Microsoft 365. Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA complements your profile.
- You have very good knowledge of German at C1 level and knowledge of French at B1 level, both spoken and written.
