Development teams deliver faster when the platform underneath is right. That is exactly what you are responsible for. You operate central container and monitoring components and further develop them. You standardise build, test, and release processes and modernise the existing toolchain. You consistently implement security and compliance requirements in the deployment environment.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation and further development of central platform components such as container orchestration, registry, and monitoring
You establish standardised build, test, and release processes and further develop them
You maintain the existing DevOps toolchain and gradually modernise it
You operate proactive incident management for stability and performance
You ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements in the deployment environment
Additionally, you support development teams with containerisation and deployment and work closely with architecture and IT security
Qualifications:
You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification
You have proven professional experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role
You are familiar with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift from practical experience
You have experience with CI/CD systems, Git, as well as monitoring and logging solutions
You are familiar with security and compliance requirements in the container environment
You work analytically, communicate in a structured manner, and convey knowledge appropriately; you have a very good command of German and English
