Senior Windows / SCCM Engineer (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Windows / SCCM Engineer (m/f/d) responsible for managing, securing, and automating Windows Server patching activities within a production environment based on SCCM/MECM.
Your mission
- Manage and execute Windows Server patching campaigns via SCCM/MECM, ensuring the management of different deployment waves.
- Organise restarts, perform post-patching checks, and handle failures or compliance deviations identified after deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions affecting servers, SCCM clients, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate patching, restarts, and checks, particularly on Exchange servers.
- Create and utilise SCCM reports to monitor server compliance, analyse failures, and manage remediation actions.
Your profile
- Advanced proficiency with the SCCM/MECM console, especially for patch management, collections, deployments, maintenance windows, and campaign monitoring.
- Proven experience in independently creating and using SCCM reports related to compliance, deployments, and patching errors.
- Strong PowerShell skills and the ability to design robust scripts to automate patching, reboot, and control operations, including for Exchange environments.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for SCCM, able to quickly identify the source of malfunctions on the server, client, or deployment side and implement appropriate corrections.
- Autonomous, pragmatic, and production/RUN-oriented, with a focus on operation and improvement of the existing system.
- Availability to start promptly is desired
