Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Construction Manager in Building Construction for the independent realisation of demanding construction projects. You will accompany projects from cost estimation and tendering through awarding and execution to handover and be responsible for costs, deadlines and quality. The focus is on construction management, contractor coordination, cost management and economic project optimisation in close collaboration with clients and project partners. The position offers a clear development perspective towards project management in building construction.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management and realisation of own building construction projects from execution planning to handover
Responsibility for costs, deadlines and execution quality throughout the entire realisation phase
Preparation and processing of tenders and specifications as well as conducting offer comparisons
Preparation and coordination of awards and contracts with contractors and suppliers
Leadership and coordination of contractors, trades and specialists on site
Creation and ongoing updating of construction programmes and schedules
Conducting construction meetings, site inspections and coordination meetings
Responsibility for cost control, measurement, invoice verification and change management
Direct coordination with clients, architects, specialist planners and contractors
Development and implementation of economic and technical project optimisations
Support of acceptances, defect management and commissioning up to handover
Maintenance of construction administration and project documentation with digital construction management systems
Qualifications:
Basic construction training, for example as draftsman EFZ specialising in architecture, bricklayer EFZ or comparable education
Further training as a certified construction manager or technician HF building construction
Practical experience in construction management and execution of building construction projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge in tendering, awarding, cost control, scheduling and construction administration
Good user knowledge of Bauplus and Microsoft 365 / MS Office, ideally additionally Realview
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
