Construction Project Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager for Building Construction to independently plan, organise, and manage diverse building construction projects. You will take operational and economic responsibility for your construction sites and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and occupational safety. In addition to leading the project and site teams, you will coordinate personnel, machinery, and equipment and be responsible for measurement, performance recording, and billing. The position offers a broad field of activity between site management, project control, and economic construction management.
Responsibilities:
Independent planning, organisation, and management of building construction projects
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and economic project success
Execution of work preparation and creation of construction schedule and resource planning
Leadership and support of foremen, supervisors, and site teams
Deployment planning and disposition of personnel, vehicles, machinery, and construction equipment
Coordination of clients, site management, planners, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ongoing site controlling including cost forecasts and target-actual comparisons
Preparation of measurements as well as interim and final accounts
Monitoring and billing of extra work, claims, and additional services
Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, quality, and environmental requirements
Technical and economic optimisation of construction processes and execution solutions
Accompanying projects through to acceptance, completion, and post-calculation
Qualifications:
Completed technical vocational training in construction with further education as certified construction site manager or certified technician HF construction management; alternatively a degree as Bachelor of Engineering FH
Several years of professional experience as a construction site manager in Swiss building construction
Sound knowledge in work preparation, site organisation, measurement, and billing
Experience in cost, schedule, resource, and claim management
Confident use of common Swiss construction software as well as MS Office
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction practice
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
