Project Engineer Building Automation (m/f/d)
Role:
In this position, you develop holistic automation and building technology concepts and accompany demanding projects from planning to successful commissioning. You coordinate technical solutions across various trades, support project implementation, and ensure economical as well as high-quality execution. You work closely with clients, specialist planners, and project teams and actively contribute to the realisation of modern building infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of customer requirements and development of overall technical concepts for building and automation solutions
Planning and elaboration of concepts in the areas of building automation, room automation, control cabinet technology, and ICT infrastructure
Development of technical solutions for control and automation systems
Support in the creation and revision of electrical plans, installation documents as well as 2D, 3D, and BIM models
Preparation of tender and award documents for technical projects
Monitoring of technical execution on site within the scope of specialist site management
Participation in project, coordination, and construction meetings with internal and external project participants
Accompanying commissioning, functional tests, and project completions
Ensuring technical quality and supporting the optimisation of project processes
Qualifications:
Completed training in electrical planning, electrical installation, automation, or a comparable field
Further education at HF level, Bachelor FH, or willingness to undertake corresponding further training
Experience in planning and implementing building automation or electrical engineering projects
Knowledge in creating and editing electrical schematics and technical planning documents
Confident use of CAD programmes, ideally also with 3D and BIM applications
Technical understanding of cross-trade building and automation systems
Independent, structured, and quality-conscious working style
Team player with strong communication and organisational skills
Category B driving licence advantageous
Fluent German language skills
