Business Informatics Specialist / Application Analyst Epic Willow (Pharmacy)

The Insel Group aims to take a pioneering role in digital medicine: With the system from the American software manufacturer Epic, the Insel Group operates a new, fully integrated clinical information system that digitally connects all locations, professional groups, and clinics of the Insel Group. We are looking for reinforcement for our team to support and further develop the medication processes.

What to expect

• You are responsible for the further development and operation of the Epic module Willow (medication processes)
• You capture and analyse the requirements of physicians, nursing staff, and other professional groups and implement sustainable solutions from them
• You maintain and update the medication master data in Epic according to professional requirements and applicable standards
• You test changes and releases and introduce them in coordination with the specialist departments
• You work closely with customers from the specialist departments and other areas of the Directorate for Technology and Innovation
• You analyse and handle disruptions, support users in dealing with Epic, and contribute to reliable application operation

What you bring

• Through your training as a medical informatics specialist or pharmacist and experience in healthcare, you are familiar with the complex processes within the hospital
• You have a good technical understanding or are willing to quickly familiarise yourself with system logics, data structures, and configurations
• You have an independent working style and are motivated to obtain the necessary Epic certifications as soon as possible
• Your motivation comes from the continuous development and associated efficiency improvement of the system
• You communicate confidently in German and English
