Role:
As an ICT Network Operations Specialist, you keep the IT infrastructures of managed services customers running and ensure secure, stable operation. You analyse and resolve service requests, incidents, problems, and changes, working hand in hand with the engineering teams. You plan and carry out maintenance work in customer and internal environments in a structured manner while simultaneously managing monitoring and event management. With your focus on LAN, WLAN, and firewall infrastructures, you keep networks under control, recognise customer needs early, and provide valuable impulses to the sales organisation.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation of the IT infrastructure for managed services customers
You analyse and process service requests, incidents, problems, and changes
You work closely with the engineering teams and ensure sustainable solutions
You plan and perform maintenance work in customer environments as well as internally
You operate and monitor monitoring and event management
Additionally, you recognise customer needs and forward these to the sales organisation
Qualifications:
You have experience as an IT supporter (2nd/3rd level) or system technician
You bring solid expertise in the operation and monitoring of LAN, WLAN, and firewall infrastructures
You communicate well in German and have specialised English skills
You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
You appreciate close teamwork and contact with customers
You are enthusiastic about network and security topics and continuously further your education
