Service Technician Ventilation (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 90,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional for the service, maintenance and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems. You will look after building technology systems directly at customers’ premises, analyse faults and ensure reliable operation through professional repairs. In addition to commissioning and functional checks, you will carry out component replacements and optimise existing systems in terms of function and operational safety. As a technical contact person, you will work closely with project management, installation and other specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on ventilation and air conditioning systems
Systematic fault analysis, error diagnosis and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrotechnical system components
Performing commissioning, functional tests and system inspections
Repair as well as replacement and installation of components, sensors, drives and system parts
Checking and optimising air volumes, system functions and operating parameters
Carrying out preventive maintenance to ensure operational safety and system availability
Technical assessment of existing systems and identifying repair, replacement and optimisation needs
Independent organisation and execution of service assignments at customers’ sites
Preparation of service reports, maintenance protocols and technical documentation
Technical advice to customers on system operation, maintenance and possible optimisation measures
Close cooperation with project management, installation and building technology departments
Occasional on-call and fault service duties with appropriate organisation
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) in ventilation, building technology or HVAC, for example as a ventilation system builder EFZ or comparable technical training
Professional experience in service and maintenance of ventilation and air conditioning systems
Good expertise in mechanics and electrotechnics as well as systematic fault diagnosis
Experience with commissioning, functional checks and repair of building technology systems
Willingness for occasional on-call duties is an advantage
Good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
