Restaurant Staff

The Directorate of Real Estate and Operations shapes the hospital infrastructure of the future and is responsible for operational services around the hospital. The hospitality department provides gastronomic services for the Insel Group 365 days a year. The kitchen team at Riggisberg Hospital prepares high-quality dishes for patients, staff, visitors of the public Café Längenberg, and the Riggishof retirement home.

What to expect

• Advising and serving guests at the restaurant counter
• Operating the tills and handling payments
• Ensuring the presentation of goods at the self-service stations
• Organising events and preparing catering orders
• General tidying and cleaning duties

What you bring

• You are a warm and engaging personality, with a touch of humour
• You enjoy direct guest contact and have a strong service orientation
• You have good spoken German skills and understand Swiss German
• You have professional experience in community catering or are motivated to learn
• You are willing to work various shifts, including weekends
