CAD Draughtsman / Designer (m/f/d) 80-100%

JOMOS Fire Protection AG, based in Balsthal with around 180 employees, is a leading company in the exciting field of technical fire protection. Since 2018, the company has been part of the international VINCI Group. For the extinguishing business unit, we are looking for an experienced and committed employee to start immediately or by arrangement.

• Focus on drafting and planning tasks in fire extinguishing system construction / sprinkler systems
• Creation of site and usage plans, system schematics, operating instructions using AutoCAD in conjunction with CATS
• Design of execution, assembly and revision plans for sprinkler systems in 3D or isometric 2D representation and sprinkler control centres in 3D including the depiction of technical details such as brackets, sections, views, the aforementioned according to sprinkler guidelines (SES, VdS, FM, etc.)
• Preparation and independent execution of hydraulic calculations (system design)
• Creation of manufacturing drawings, material lists and orders
• Support with submissions to authorities
• Ensuring technically and qualitatively flawless implementation (guidelines/compliance)

• Completed vocational training as a designer, building services planner or technical draughtsman with professional experience
• Higher vocational education (e.g. technician HF in building services or mechanical engineering, business administration
• Industry experience in construction, mechanical engineering or building services desirable
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
• Very good CAD skills, preferably AutoCAD in 2D and 3D or Revit
• Fluent German
• Willingness for continuous training in various regulations
