In this role, you take responsibility for smooth system support and ensure that the IT infrastructure runs stably, securely, and efficiently. You analyse faults and requests, handle them in a structured manner, and competently support users with technical challenges. You maintain existing systems, plan optimisations, and implement adjustments purposefully. Additionally, you actively participate in the introduction of new solutions and ensure their sustainable operation. Through your service-oriented and precise working style, you contribute decisively to the high availability and quality of IT services.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the availability and further development of a hybrid infrastructure with on-premise, cloud, and distributed services.
Administration and lifecycle management of Windows and Linux systems, virtualisation platforms, and basic network services.
Further development of the digital work environment including device management, identity services, collaboration, and software deployment.
Planning and technical implementation of new infrastructure components and services including evaluation of suitable technologies.
Setup and support of secure remote access, remote support, and teleservice solutions.
Operation and optimisation of technical platforms for development, testing, build, and deployment as well as support for CI/CD-related infrastructure topics.
Monitoring the environment using monitoring and logging as well as maintaining license management, documentation, backup, and lifecycle processes.
Qualifications:
Education in computer science/system technology or a comparable technical qualification.
Practical experience as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer, or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of Windows Server, virtualisation, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and modern infrastructure architectures.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, or comparable cloud and workplace technologies.
Knowledge of Linux, PowerShell, scripting, or infrastructure automation is an advantage.
Interest in new technologies as well as the ability to present technical contexts understandably for different stakeholders.
Independent, reliable, and service-oriented personality with very good German and English skills.
