Job Description
As a librarian-archivist, you play a key role within the Cantonal Museum of Archaeology and History (MCAH). Your mission is to manage, develop and enhance documentary resources, while ensuring quality service to users and partners.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for designing and implementing the MCAH archives management policy.
Ensure responsibility, operation and user service of the library (cataloguing, coding, equipment, organisation, preservation, inventories).
Develop physical and electronic collections according to the identified needs of researchers and manage the ordering and receipt of acquisitions and donations.
Collaborate on documentary research to facilitate mediation, communication and/or the organisation of exhibitions.
Participate in supervising auxiliary employees/interns, maintain relationships with all partners and represent the library at professional meetings and conferences.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Information Sciences.
Additional training in archives management.
Minimum 5 years' experience as a librarian or archivist, ideally in the cultural sector.
Good command of the Alma ILS, EDM software and common office tools.
Interest in archaeology, history and ethnography.
English level B1 and German level B1, an advantage.
Decision-making ability and determination.
Organisation and time management skills.
Analytical and synthesis skills.
