CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Construction Manager Building Construction (80-100%) for the independent realisation of diverse and demanding construction projects. You will take on operational leadership on the construction site and coordinate contractors, specialist planners and other project participants from tendering to successful handover. You will ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and execution standards and resolve technical as well as organisational issues directly within the project. The position combines classic construction management and site coordination with digital working processes and a high degree of personal responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and coordination of building construction projects during the realisation phase
Responsibility for operational site organisation and contractor coordination
Control and monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality and construction progress
Creation and updating of construction programmes, schedules and execution controls
Preparation and support of tenders, submissions and awards
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, specialist planning and executing companies
Conducting and recording of construction and coordination meetings
Checking execution with regard to plan bases, contracts, SIA standards and quality requirements
Verification of measurements, contractor invoices, change orders and time and material work
Early identification of execution risks and scheduling conflicts and development of suitable solutions
Organisation and implementation of acceptances, defect management and follow-up inspections
Use of digital construction administration and project management tools for documentation and control of construction projects
Qualifications:
Training as certified construction manager, HF technician in building construction, FH architect or EFZ draughtsman specialising in architecture with appropriate further training and experience
Several years of professional experience in construction management of building projects, ideally in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of cost management, scheduling, tendering and contractor coordination
Good knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, construction processes and execution standards
Experience in measurement, invoice verification, change order management and acceptances
Confident handling of digital construction administration and project management tools
Very good German language skills spoken and written
