The neurology department is an important part of the Swiss Paraplegic Centre. Approximately 1500 patients are cared for annually, either as inpatients or outpatients. Neurology is growing. Therefore, we would like to expand our team immediately or by arrangement with a responsible and team-oriented medical-technical assistant (MTA).
These are your tasks
- Assistance and execution of routine examinations (EEG, ENG, EMG and evoked potentials) in outpatient and intraoperative settings
- Assistance with lumbar punctures and patient monitoring
- Ensuring the preparation, functionality, and suitability of medical devices and consumables
- Assisting with the introduction of new internal departmental structures and processes
This is what sets you apart
- Completed basic training as a Medical Technical Assistant (MTA) or degree in neuro-/health sciences
- Open and communicative manner as well as independent, focused, and customer-oriented working style
- IT user skills and good technical understanding
- Interest in working in an interdisciplinary team
- Fluent German skills; knowledge of English, Italian, and French is an advantage
