Datacenter strategies are not created on the drawing board but come from experience. Exactly that you bring with you. You develop future-oriented infrastructure concepts and implement them for customers. You drive server, storage, virtualisation, and backup solutions technologically forward. You critically review existing IT landscapes and optimise them purposefully. For customers, you are a technical sparring partner on equal footing.
Responsibilities:
You develop and realise future-oriented infrastructure and datacenter strategies for customers
You actively drive innovations in server, storage, virtualisation, and backup
You establish stable, scalable, and automated platforms with high availability and security
You optimise existing IT landscapes through architecture reviews, assessments, and best practices
You act as a trusted technical contact and sparring partner for customers and internal interfaces
Additionally, you introduce new technologies and market trends and help shape the infrastructure portfolio
Qualifications:
You bring several years of solid experience in the infrastructure and datacenter environment with documented project experience
You have certifications and deep know-how in server, virtualisation, and backup technologies
You have very good practical knowledge in the Microsoft environment as well as solid Linux experience
You think analytically and conceptually and work in a structured manner
You are team-oriented, proactive, and work with a high standard of quality
You communicate very well in German and English
