Job Description

• Operating earthmoving and civil engineering machinery of various sizes (loaders, tracked or wheeled excavators, surface finishers, road rollers, etc.)
• Digging and removing earth, stones or gravel using a wheeled or tracked excavator equipped with a movable arm with a bucket or a skip
• Digging trenches using a hydraulic excavator for sewers, drainage pipes, water, oil, gas pipelines, etc.
• Removing, spreading and levelling earth with a bulldozer or scraper
• Extracting sand, gravel, or silt from the bottom of a water table using a dredging installation
• Driving wooden, concrete or steel piles into the ground, operating a machine equipped with a "sheep" or vibro-hammer
• Levelling construction sites, roadways, and airfield runways
• Compacting and smoothing layers of materials with a road roller
• Spreading bitumen and tar preparations on roads (road maintenance)
• Laying bituminous concrete on squares or roads using a finisher (road construction)
• Loading onto trucks
• Organising the transport or movement of machinery from one site to another
• Cleaning, greasing, draining the machine and checking levels (water, oil, etc.)
• Ensuring the proper functioning of machinery, carrying out simple repairs
• Applying current safety and environmental protection regulations

We Expect

• You hold a Machine Operator licence from SUVA categories M1 to M7
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• You are autonomous, organised and versatile
