Role:

You don’t want to set up servers manually but roll out entire environments via code? This is exactly where this position comes in. As a CI/CD & Infrastructure Engineer, you bring on-premise systems and cloud platforms under a common automation umbrella. With Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform, you create the foundation for fast and reliable changes. Technical depth and a lot of personal responsibility shape your daily work.

Responsibilities:

• You operate the hybrid infrastructure, develop it further, and automate the provisioning of server, network, storage, and cloud resources.

• You automate configurations and recurring operational processes with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and configuration management tools.

• You build continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for deployments, updates, and changes, seamlessly integrating platform components.

• Additionally, you expand monitoring, logging, and alerting and implement hardening and security requirements directly in the code.

• You investigate and sustainably resolve issues across containers, virtualisation, network, and cloud.

• You also drive migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle projects forward and improve the scalability and performance of the platforms.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in infrastructure or DevOps engineering form your foundation.

• You are confident with Linux and/or Windows Server and have hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms or public cloud environments.

• You work routinely with Terraform, Ansible, and versioned configurations in Git including branching.

• You write solid scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Bash confidently and have already used automated deployment pipelines productively.

• Furthermore, you are familiar with containers using Docker, ideally also Kubernetes, and understand TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, and firewalling.

• You also integrate monitoring tools into automated processes and consider backup, recovery, high availability, and security from the outset.
