System Engineer (m/f/d)

The application covers the entire administrative process: from the tax register through assessments and invoicing to debt collection and loss certificate management. A new generation of software is currently being developed – an exciting project that combines technical know-how and innovative strength. Responsibilities:
Close linkage of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops) to accelerate, optimise, and automate the development and deployment processes
Building and orchestrating Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers, managing on-premise and cloud environments to optimise scaling and deployment
Supporting the management of the continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline in the Azure Cloud and refining the virtualisation environment with OpenShift
Maintaining Linux and Windows operating systems, Oracle and SQL databases, working with PowerShell scripts, managing versions with Git, and general system engineering
Contributing to the further development of security standards, optimisation of the system landscape in the network area and secure data exchange
Qualifications:
Higher degree (FH/University/ETH) in Computer Science with certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, or Oracle
Proven experience in a similar role and successful handling of tasks related to DevOps and system engineering
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Git, Azure Cloud, Oracle, MSSQL, PowerShell, and Tanzu
Ability to optimally bridge development and operations and to convince a dynamic team through a calm, solution-oriented approach
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
