Responsibility for the operation, further development, and automation of our cloud and Linux platforms with a focus on OpenStack
Contribute to the design, construction, and optimisation of the OpenStack environment and actively help shape its further development
Plan and implement infrastructure and automation solutions using Ansible, OpenTofu, Terraform and other modern tools
Ensure stable, performant, and secure operation as well as analyse and sustainably resolve complex incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support
Work closely with infrastructure, network, and storage teams, help shape architecture and technology decisions, and gradually take on responsibility as an OpenStack specialist
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science or a comparable technical education or training
Several years of experience as a Linux System Engineer, Linux Platform Engineer, or Linux Administrator in demanding enterprise environments
Solid knowledge in automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code, ideally with Ansible, OpenTofu, or Terraform
Good knowledge of cloud platforms, OpenStack, virtualisation, container technologies, networking, and storage as well as an understanding of highly available infrastructures
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style, very good German skills (C1) and good English skills as well as willingness for on-call duty
