ATSSO - Specialist Technical Assistant in Operating Theatre
80 - 100%
The main duties of this role are:
- Assisting with patient positioning, taking into account their particularities and the requirements of the procedure under the surgeon's supervision.
- Opening and preparing the operating rooms.
- Respecting ethical, safety, privacy, and comfort principles towards the patient.
- Gathering and checking the necessary equipment for the procedure in collaboration with the instrument technicians.
- Performing the circulating role in the preparation room and operating theatre.
- Carrying out bio-cleaning in compliance with HPCI instructions for the room between each operation and ensuring optimal time management between procedures.
- Storing equipment in the preparation and storage rooms.
Required profile:
- Possess training as a Specialist Technical Assistant in Operating Theatre or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a private institution is an advantage.
- Have a proactive personality, be autonomous, dynamic, and conscientious.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Have essential organisational skills.
- Be proficient with basic computer tools.
- Have proficiency in French, minimum B2 level.
