Role:
In this role, you design stable and secure platforms so that diagnostic and operational processes function reliably at all times. You are responsible for the setup, operation and continuous development of platforms, networks and cloud solutions. You ensure that all systems are performant, highly available and securely integrated. You analyse technical requirements, design suitable solutions and implement them in a structured manner. Through your professional incident and problem management, you contribute decisively to the stability and security of the entire IT environment.
Responsibilities:
You ensure stable operation of our IT environment and support users with demanding technical issues.
You analyse complex faults across multiple systems and carry out sustainable error corrections.
You further develop our client and server landscape and independently take on technical tasks in infrastructure projects.
You optimise existing operational processes and keep technical documentation, runbooks and system overviews up to date.
You contribute to the further development of virtualisation, network and database components and introduce new technologies into operations.
Qualifications:
You have a higher education qualification in computer science, systems engineering or a comparable technical field.
You have solid practical experience in Windows client and server administration as well as good knowledge of networks and relational databases.
You are familiar with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix or Nutanix and can operate complex environments securely.
You work analytically, independently and solution-oriented and keep an overview even in demanding incidents.
You communicate very confidently in German; good English skills complete your profile.
