An experienced individual is sought for a versatile IT environment who advises customers on technical issues and designs and implements individual infrastructure solutions. The focus is on Microsoft client and server environments, virtualisation and network infrastructures.
The position combines technical consulting with engineering, implementation and ongoing support. You will manage various IT components and ensure reliable operation of modern workplace and server environments.
Responsibilities:
Consulting customers, analysing technical requirements and developing suitable IT solutions
Design and implementation of workplace, server and network infrastructures
Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft client and server environments
Implementation and support of applications based on Terminal Services and Citrix
Administration, maintenance and continuous optimisation of the existing IT infrastructure
Support with technical faults and ensuring reliable IT operations
Qualifications:
Completed IT training; certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, CCA or CCEA are advantageous
Further education in IT at HF/TS level is desirable
Solid experience with Microsoft client and server infrastructures, especially Windows Server and Windows client systems
Good knowledge of server virtualisation and ideally experience with Exchange and SQL servers
Good network knowledge in LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN and TCP/IP
Good German skills, customer-oriented communication and independent working style
