The SBB train inspection systems are the leading system in Europe for wayside inspections of railway rolling stock. With the project "Digital Vehicle Inspection" (English: "Wayside Intelligence"), SBB will set a new benchmark for wayside rolling stock monitoring with train inspection systems. This pioneering project is a new approach based on state-of-the-art IT and measurement technology and has far-reaching effects on vehicle maintenance, as well as the digitalisation and automation of railways. This is what you can achieve.

• You lead the strategic development project "Wayside Intelligence", which includes the construction of a complex IT system and up to 15 locations with state-of-the-art measurement and camera technology for wayside vehicle monitoring.
• Together with various users and stakeholders from infrastructure, railway companies and vehicle owners, you analyse the requirements for future wayside inspection of rolling stock for digital rail production.
• You manage the entire project portfolio of IT and product development projects in the train inspection systems area and accompany complex projects for the development, further development and optimisation of train inspection systems as well as their integration into the SBB environment.
• You enable employees in project working methods and create the basis for transparent and ambitious project management.

• You are a convincing and integrative personality with high communication skills as well as assertiveness and a can-do attitude.
• Your good strategic-conceptual skills as well as your analytical and creative thinking help you make important decisions.
• You have experience in leading complex projects in the IT or telecom environment as well as in the development of technical systems. You also bring extensive experience in classical and agile project working methods, preferably practical experience in using JIRA and Confluence.
• A higher education (HF/FH/ETH) in a technical field (telecom, computer science, etc.) or in business administration with additional training in the other direction enables you to successfully take on this demanding task.
• In addition, you master the German language (at least at level C1). Knowledge of another national language is an advantage.
