The Municipality of Delley-Portalban is advertising the position of Head of the Road Services Department at 80-100% - Multi-skilled Employee

Activities and duties of the position:

• Manage a team
• Organise tasks in the various sectors related to civil engineering, the recycling centre and the tourist area
• Supervise and participate in on-site work
• Manage the fleet of vehicles and machinery as well as the road services building
• Provide an on-call service (snow clearance and recycling centre)
• Collaborate with various municipal departments

Your profile:

• Certificate or Federal VET Diploma in mechanics, landscaping or an equivalent qualification
• Knowledge in the maintenance of green spaces
• Familiarity with computer tools
• Knowledge of German is an advantage
• Holder of a category B driving licence
• Holder of category F/G driving licence is an advantage
• Organisational skills, communication skills, initiative and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work outside normal hours, including weekends
