Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager HVAC / Technical Plant Responsibility to support and strategically develop building services systems within a demanding production infrastructure. You will take technical responsibility for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and ensure their high availability, operational safety and sustainable optimisation. In addition to analysing existing systems, you plan and lead renewal, optimisation and investment projects and develop long-term plant and investment strategies. The position combines operational plant know-how with project management and strategic lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
Assuming technical responsibility for HVAC systems within a production and operational infrastructure
Ensuring high plant availability and operational safety
Analysing complex faults, weaknesses and recurring plant issues
Developing and implementing sustainable optimisation and improvement measures
Planning and leading renewal, refurbishment and investment projects
Preparing technical concepts, variant studies and solution proposals
Developing a long-term HVAC strategy and investment roadmap
Conducting economic, lifecycle and investment analyses
Preparing technical foundations and investment proposals for decision-making bodies
Coordinating internal specialist departments, engineering partners, suppliers and external service providers
Supporting tenders, procurement as well as commissioning and acceptance
Ensuring complete plant, project and revision documentation
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training EFZ in HVAC/building technology
Further training as Dipl. Technician HF Building Technology or Bachelor FH with specialisation in heating, ventilation, air conditioning or comparable field
Several years of professional experience in operation, maintenance and/or engineering of HVAC systems, ideally in an industrial environment
Sound understanding of plant availability, operational safety and lifecycle management
Experience in investment projects, technical concepts and economic analyses
Good knowledge of relevant SIA/SWKI standards and building technology standards
Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
