Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the technical and commercial project management of demanding heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. You will take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and realisation of HVAC projects in new builds, conversions and renovation projects. The focus is on developing energy-efficient building technology concepts, cost and schedule control, as well as quality assurance on site. The position combines technical project management, sustainable energy solutions and economic project execution with direct customer contact and comprehensive responsibility from planning to final billing.
Responsibilities:
Independent technical and commercial management of HVAC projects in the areas of heating, ventilation and air conditioning from project takeover to acceptance
Planning, coordination and realisation of building technology systems for new builds, conversions and renovation projects
Development and implementation of energy concepts considering energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness and sustainable building technology
Responsibility for project budgets, cost control and profitability including ongoing cost forecasts and monitoring of project margins
Management of project schedules and execution quality as well as ensuring compliance with agreed performance and quality standards
Processing and negotiation of change orders and additional services including technical and commercial evaluation of project changes
Preparation and review of offers, project calculations and billing documents as well as responsibility for final billing
Coordination of internal installation teams, specialist planners, suppliers and external companies to ensure efficient project workflows
Technical coordination with clients, architects and other project participants during planning and implementation of building technology solutions
Monitoring of construction execution on site including site inspections, quality checks and clarification of technical interfaces
Organisation and support of commissioning, functional checks and system acceptance as well as coordination of necessary follow-up work
Independent support and advice to customers and suppliers on technical, organisational and economic issues
Qualifications:
Completed basic training in heating, air conditioning or building technology, for example as a heating installer EFZ, building technology planner EFZ heating or ventilation
Further training as a certified technician HF building technology, specialising in heating or air conditioning, or comparable higher professional education advantageous
Several years of professional experience in project management of demanding HVAC systems as well as in the technical and commercial handling of building technology projects
Sound knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology as well as experience with energy-efficient system concepts and building technology system solutions
Experience in project calculation, budget control, change management and final billing as well as knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards and technical guidelines
Confident use of digital project management and construction administration systems as well as MS Office; knowledge of industry-specific calculation software advantageous
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for customer advice, project coordination and contract negotiations
