Software-defined networks are changing how companies plan and protect their infrastructure. As a Lead Network Engineer, you actively shape this change and implement complex enterprise solutions based on Cisco. The focus is on Software Defined Access (SDA) and SD-WAN. You take on the technical leadership in demanding customer projects and pass on your knowledge purposefully.
Responsibilities:
You lead customer projects technically, both on-premises and in hybrid environments.
You design, plan, and configure complex enterprise networks and commission them.
Furthermore, you implement SDA architectures with the Catalyst Center and realise SD-WAN solutions.
You develop concepts for network segmentation according to Zero-Trust principles.
Additionally, you perform troubleshooting at expert level in 3rd-level support.
You also document solutions, mentor junior engineers, and support presales with expertise and proposals.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of senior-level experience in enterprise networking, ideally at a system integrator or in enterprise IT.
You master the Cisco portfolio and have practical knowledge of routing, switching, multicast, and wireless.
A certification such as CCNP or CCIE is a clear advantage. Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) spark your interest.
You think analytically, act entrepreneurially, and enjoy complex technical solutions with high quality standards.
Moreover, you communicate fluently in German and are confident in technical English.
You also have an impeccable reputation, and a category B driving licence is advantageous.
